How we handle your Ghana work permit
01 · GIPC Registration and Quota Confirmation
The employing company must have an active GIPC registration and Immigrant Quota allocation. Two Max Group reviews GIPC status and confirms the available Quota. If a Quota increase is needed, we initiate the GIPC application.
02 · Pre-Arrival Visa
The expatriate applies for a Ghana entry visa at the nearest Ghana embassy or high commission (ECOWAS citizens are exempt). Two Max Group prepares the employer invitation letter and supporting documentation.
03 · Arrival and Temporary Work Permit Application
On arrival, the Temporary Work Permit (TWP) application is submitted to GIS. The TWP allows legal employment while the Resident Permit application is processed.
04 · Resident Permit Application
The full Resident Permit application is submitted to GIS simultaneously with or immediately after the TWP. Two Max Group prepares the complete dossier: passport, GIPC letter, employer letter, educational certificates, police clearance, medical certificate, and GIS form.
05 · GIS Processing and Biometrics
GIS processes the Resident Permit application. The expatriate attends GIS in person for biometric enrolment. Processing typically takes 30 to 60 days. Two Max Group tracks the application and follows up with GIS.
06 · Permit Issued and Renewal Management
The Resident Permit is collected and provided to the expatriate. Two Max Group manages renewal 3 months before expiry, updating GIPC records and the GIS renewal application as required.
