Application Process

How we handle your South Africa work permit

1

01 · Visa Category Assessment

Two Max Group assesses the most appropriate visa category: General Work Visa, Critical Skills, ICT, or Corporate Visa — depending on the role, occupation, company structure, and timing requirements.

2

02 · SAQA Qualification Evaluation

For most visa categories, foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA. This takes 6 to 12 weeks and must be initiated as early as possible. Two Max Group advises on the SAQA submission process for each nationality.

3

03 · Labour Market Test (General Work Visa only)

The employer advertises the position and obtains a DOEL Certificate confirming no suitable South African candidate is available. This takes 4 to 8 weeks and must be completed before the visa application is submitted.

4

04 · Document Preparation

Two Max Group assembles the complete dossier: passport, SAQA evaluation, DOEL Certificate (if applicable), police clearances (apostilled), medical and radiological certificates, professional body registration, appointment letter, and DHA application form.

5

05 · Application Submission at VFS Global

The visa application is submitted at a VFS Global centre in the home country (or in-country at a DHA office for select change-of-status cases). Two Max Group prepares the complete submission package and advises the applicant on the VFS process.

6

06 · DHA Processing and Visa Issuance

DHA adjudicates in Pretoria. Approved visas are issued at the VFS Global centre or South African embassy. Two Max Group confirms conditions, expiry, and any endorsements. Renewal applications are initiated 6 months before expiry.
